Sometimes I feel like a walking cliche.  The blond that doesn't get the jokes, the girl that lives for chick flicks, the small town kid who moved to the big city, the wedding photographer who "loves love". 

 

But I do.  I do love love.
And I really believe it makes me a better wedding photographer.  My camera is an extension of my heart.  It's how I see the world.  And my world, is pretty great.

You know who else is pretty great?  Taylor Swift.  And you know what's even greater?  Taylor Swift dance parties with my 5 year old, 3 year old and 1 year old.  Because, let's be honest, they are much better dancers than I am.  And who doesn't love some vintage Taylor Swift?  We can also be found singing loudly in the car to every country song imaginable.

There are lots of great things in life.  The smell of pavement right after it's rained.  In and Out burger, protein style.  High Heels and Cowboy boots.  Riding in my jeep with the top down.  Tacos straight from a taco truck.  The satisfaction of popping bubble wrap.  Sparkly everything.  And unicorns.

And maybe this is cliche too, but after more than 10 years of shooting countless weddings, I still cry every time.
